We develop in this paper the idea of a « Web of experience », which needs some theoretical founding in semiotics, coherently with Collaborative Knowledge Engineering methods, models and tools usable for this purpose. A Web of experience focuses practices in collective complex situations. Stakeholders can use methods and models, such as the ones described in the paper, to collect and transform the accounting of their situated experience, in order to adapt it onto the Web standards and thus to capitalize and share their return of experience with peers. The paper highlights the importance of phenomenology and semiotics, with a crucial interest to Peirce’s categories system, and to Jacques Theureau’s hexadic sign theory applied to the course of experience. We take the example of the experience of emergency doctors, in the crisis management field.
