Activity and Elite Acrobatic Performances
Abstract: This article describes cognitive analysis of elite acrobatic performances. Three paradigms are presented and illustrated by theoretical and methodological principles, results they provide and the practical implications for sport sciences. The analysis shows that the study of acrobatic performances has progressively used more complex models that take into considerations subject-environment interactions and consciousness in action. These evolving perspectives lead to modify conceptions of the expertise and training considerations in elite sport.
