intellectica is the journal of the French Association for Cognitive Research . It addresses all the disciplines concerned by the study of cognition.
intellectica publishes orginal theoretical or experimental work, as well as general reviews, research reports and critical notes. It deals with theories, models and architectures associated with cognitive structures and processes. The latter can be addressed in their stable form or during their development, described abstractly or in relation with their biological, physical or social determinants.
The journal deals in particular with perception, motricity, language, reasoning and forms of intentionality, in all their modalities be they indivdual or collective, natural or artificial.
The journal is interested in logic and logical systems, in the representation of knowledge, in dynamic and neuro-mimetic models, in adaptive systems.
The journal also presents applications in fields such as education, ergonomics, computer-human interaction and robotics.
Finally, the journal organizes and welcomes epistemological debates, on the basis of a radical pluralism in the choice of authors and disciplines, and in the choice of themes, schools of thought and paradigms.
intellectica has been published since 1985.
