Bodily Experience, Cognition and Emergence of Meaning

Our work considers the epistemic status of human experience and the living body in knowledge processes. The author claims that experience is a myriad richness and argues that a first-person epistemology and precise methods are needed to genuinely conduct experiential researches. This paper aims to thematize experience, especially bodily sensations, as a way to join the Living within us and to rely on It as a source of knowledge. The stakes of such a proposal is not only epistemological but also nourishing an ethical and societal goal.
