In this paper, Béatrice Galinon-Mélénec explains how, after studying the role of behavior in terms of recruitment, she defined the paradigm of “signe-trace” and that of “Homme-trace”. “Homme-trace” paradigm assumes on one hand that person-environment interactions are written on the body, and in the brain; on the other hand, their practices produce sign-traces in an environment. All are operating in a system of internalisation of externality and externalisation of interiority.
