On the lightness of writing and creation. Commentary based on the article of Ylva Lindberg “The Unbearable Lightness Of Writing In The Postdigital Era”

In this commentary I present some thoughts on writing and creation and I discuss the processes that are involved: on the one hand the bottom-up and light processes and on the other hand the top-down and semantic ones. The generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) / LLM (Large Language Models) tools like ChatGPT are very limited regarding semantic synthesis and understanding, which affects the quality of texts produced in this way. However, I remain optimist that the computer-assisted literature will evolve toward an interesting and innovative form of true co-creation with the human.
